Pre Race: Bay To Bay Halfy

Last Sunday was a huge day of racing. Trent Langlands and I woke up early to drive to the bustling town of Woy Woy to race in the Bay To Bay Half Marathon. This was a real backwater course which is to be expected in Rural and Regional racing.

Trent was 1st in his category and 10th overall in 1:20:08. While I finished 2nd overall in 1:10:27.

It was great to race a smaller race where you really get to meet some battlers and see Ma and Pa Kettle working the the BBQ and Public Address system respectively. Such living.

While in the inaugural Brisbane City2South Leon Bowes finished 64th overall in 54:42. That’s good for a big man.
